Is Silvio Berlusconi a dangerous man for Europe? In the media I have read that Silvio Berlusconi is related to the maffia and that he won the elections because he controls all the Italian media. Can you think of any words of comfort for Silvio Berlusconi? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1235966/Police-warned-Berlusconi-attacker-assault-left-Italian-PM-broken-nose.html When he visited people whose houses had been destroyed he said: "Imagine that you're on a Camping Trip!" Would it be appropriate to say to Silvio:"Imagine that you've just starred in a Rocky film!" Can you think of any other cheering words to bring a smile to Berlusconi's face?
Was the violent attack on Silvio Berlusconi really necessary? I know many of us are fed up with our politicians, but I personally think that this was uncalled for. Everyone has a right to come home from work at night without being harmed, including them. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/italy/6818922/Fears-for-Silvio-Berlusconis-morale.html What do you think?
What do you think of Silvio Berlusconi? What would happen to you if your president was convicted of corruption and could not be sent to prison because of a law (made by him) that prevents the first 4 positions of the state to jail? Berlusconi's ruling should be for 5 years in prison for corruption, but thanks to his law is safe. Do not you find it outrageous?

Why is Mediaset(Silvio Berlusconi) so interested in the British ITV? He's allready one of the richest man in the world. He owns almost all of the Italian media(indirectly with his interest in the publicity market) and last year one of the world leading media concerns, Endemol, was taken over by Mediaset Is the media sector such a profitable sector or is there another reason?
Is Kaka being forced to join city by Silvio Berlusconi? Because he has already said he wants to stay in Milan for many years to come but yet it seems Milan see this as too much of a great offer to turn down, I've followed Kaka for his whole career and he has stated many times that he and his wife are happy in Milan and that he wants to raise their kids there, there is somethin fishy going on there in my opinion, Ricardo is not one to be "bought" I think he is being pushed by Silvio.

Who is Silvio Berlusconi? With your own words, tell me who is Silvio Berlusconi. He said that if the law passes, he will not use it. Before He asked for it, and now that the media is all against that, he said: Even if that pass,I will not use it. He doesn't own only 3 public channels of the italian tv channels, he owns a spanish channel, something with 5, and he has, while he was Prime Minister, created "Mediaset Premium" to see, some kind of shows, soccer events and cartoons buying a prepaid card. While he introduced it, the same Prime Minister decided to make a Govern discount to buy it.
Tell me about silvio berlusconi? Who is he? What does/did he do? Would this challenge media regulations in the UK? Should this be allowed? Please star the question too! Thanks so much.
Do you find Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi's comments regarding pretty Italian women offensive? LONDON: Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi has fuelled a furore yet again by saying that women in the country were so beautiful that they needed military escorts to avoid being raped. The Italian premier has landed in soup over his comments, which came in response to questions about his proposal to deploy 300,000 soldiers in the streets to fight crime. The move came in line with a series of violent attacks, including a rape in Rome on New Year’s Eve and another outside the capital. However, the PM said that crimes like rape could happen even in a militarised state, as Italian women are so pretty. "You can’t consider deploying a force that would be sufficient to prevent the risk," the Telegraph quoted him as saying. He added: "We would have to have so many soldiers because our women are so beautiful." But, Berlusconi’s comments did not go quite well with opposition lawmakers like Giovanna Melandri of the Democratic Party, who said that the remarks were "profoundly offensive". On his defence, Berlusconi said he was complimenting Italian women "because there are only about 100,000 people in law enforcement, while there are millions of beautiful women." While he stressed that rape was a serious and "disgraceful" crime, he added that his comments were in pure "levity and good humour."

is Silvio Berlusconi racist towards Obama? The Italian Prime Minister in a bit of trouble because he refered to him as ''handsome, young and also suntanned". Common sense tells me that he simply got his English mixed up and meant ''Young dark and handsome''. When he was questioned by many reporters he called them ''Imbeciles''. Are they Politically correct imbeciles or has Silvio got a history of Racism? I don't know that much about him.

Berlusconi and Italian politcs? Hi, I'm an Italian boy and I want to know what people from other countries think about -even if get to hear something about- Italian politics and in particolar about Silvio Berlusconi, who yesterday win the elections and ( unfortunately =__=") has gained power in Italy. I voted for Veltroni, his central-left rival Sorry for my Englis, I know is bad. I hope to get very much responses. best wishes Yes, even Berlusconi is in harness with mafia. But not all of Italian are 'mafiosi'. We are not just mafia pizza and spaghetti!
Berlusconi? Question for english people: What do you think about the new(old) italian premier Silvio Berlusconi? Do you know anything about his alliance with Lega Nord party? @ old: italians talk about politics because they still hope that politician can solve many big problems that they have. not just for fun. @ vindikat: what is "fetta"? i saw many italian (?) restaurants in london with dishes never seen in italy! why? @ Ro: very constructive observation. i like your arguments. @ Comrade: you got to the core of the matter. what italians need is a new leader with new ideas. unfortunately they keep voting the same old "crooks".
What do you think of the current Italian politics? I am pretty worried about my country because without even knowing it, Italians are giving absolute powers to their prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi (his party is the Liberty's People, which is practically like the Republicans). I'm Italian and there is a huge fascism revival now in Italy. Berlusconi, the current prime minister, is taking over the judiciary power and allows himself ruling the country at his pleasure. He convinced the Italians through the television that all the charges of frauds and briberies on him were untrue and therefore he blackmailed his own party by making them pass self-protecting laws against the judiciary and the Constitution. He realized this when he said he would have not passed any laws in the Congress unless they would have approved his own laws. So, now Berlusconi owns legislative and judiciary powers, and aims for the executive by removing President Napolitano in the near future. Meanwhile 90% of the mass media are owned by Berlusconi The button that B. pushes to get authority are a strong immigration of eastern Europeans like it never happened before in the history of Italy, and the general economic depression.
