What do you think about what has happened to Berlusconi in Italy? Hi! Let me ask you a question. You who are external to the facts. Berlusconi, our Prime Minister, was attacked by a mentally ill person. In your opinion how it should react to a political leader at this moment? (Berlusconi said: "Love always wins over hate envy," stirring the soul)
Is Berlusconi from Italy the equivalent of Bush in America? Corrupt and thinks he is beyond the law.
Do you think Berlusconi reflects Italy? I don't think so. I'm italian. My parents voted for Veltroni. Italian people says " I didn't vote Berlusconi!" But who knows why Berlusconi gets always the Italian Prime Minister. So, DO YOU THINK BERLUSCONI REFLECTS ITALY? Hope you understood me! Thanku!
What do you think about Italy's leader PierSilvio Berlusconi and about Italy in general? I'm talking about politics and economy (i'm not talking about beautiful places and culture)
What do you think of Italy's PM Silvio Berlusconi? What do you think of Italy's PM Silvio Berlusconi?
What do you think about Berlusconi and the political situation in Italy? I'm an italian girl and i'd like to know what do you think about the situation of my country. Thanks!
do you believe that democracy, in italy, is threatened by Berlusconi? or do you believe that there's a problem of information in italy (i.e. that mass media ain't really free to inform)
In Italy the magistrates that investigate on Berlusconi, are all communists? They investigate on berlusconi because they the magistrates are communists?
Did you read the news about the exposed nipple behind Italy PM Berlusconi? Probably, because this is a question about current news and not what veggies you had for dinner, means very few will even read it. However if did, don't you think why is this even an issue? He has been up for corruption more then Al Capone and all the American Mafia put together. Surely he shouldn't even be PM in the first place?
Will mr. Berlusconi finally save Italy from communism? Any opinion about the 72 years old media mogul Silvio Berlusconi, going to rule italy from next April?
Football in Italy - The 'Berlusconi Cup'? I was planning on going to Milan this summer and noticed that AC Milan have a friendly on the 17th of August. They are scheduled to play Juventus in the Berlusconi cup...does anyone know what this is/ what other teams compete and for what? Also... i was wandering if tickets for a match like this would need to be pre-ordered or if i could buy them at the gates? I would expect you can buy them on the gates but just in case...
Is Silvio Berlusconi like the George W. Bush of Italy? I've read that they're good friends and they seem to share similar qualities. Do people in Italy who like Berlusconi tend to like Bush as well? Or is that not the case from what you've seen. Did Italians care at all about Bush? Were they laughing at his blunders the same way Americans and the rest of the world were, seems a little hypocritical considering they had Berlusconi.
What would you do against Berlusconi if you lived in Italy? As you may already know, Italy is slowly becoming a dictatorship. Italy is 44th in the World in the Press Freedom index, below Mali and Bosnia. Italy's prime minister, Berlusconi, owns most of the TV channels, most newspapers and weekly magazines, he practically controls information (and he is also head of the government). This is bad because no TV channel can say real things about him, and many people are brainwashed. Italy is also becoming increasingly racist. Berlusconi has been condemned more than once for mafia and corruption, but he has made "special" laws not to go into jail and not to be condemned, so he still stays as head of the State and he will be for a long time. He already is 7 years prime minister. There is no way out, unemployment is also increasing. There are many problems connected with corruption and mafia, but I won't bother you. What would you do if you were italian and lived in italy right now? A revolution? @Jenk: yeah, I forgot the militias in the streets.. remind me of SS and Mussolini's secret police.
Italy Election; Berlusconi Again? i just saw the News and S.Berlusconi is back as Prime minister in italy.
Isn't Berlusconi of Italy an embarrassment? Isn't he an embarrassment? He is too old to be involved in so many scandals. How do Italians take him seriously and why can't they find someone else for Prime Minister? He was elected twice. I stand corrected about his number of terms. I dont mind about someone's sex liaisons except when he is 73 and should act with dignity. I would like to see different politician, someone on the left perhaps?
Hi!! i'm an italian girl, what do you think about mr. Berlusconi and about italy? thanks! Many Italians are ashamed of Berlusconi... do you remember what the queen said last day?
Italy.. is it true that 62 governments ruled in 63 years? Berlusconi is the only prime minister ? Berlusconi is the only prime minister ruled the country in full term and next comes, the now going government of Romono prodi who only lasted 650 days days.. why and what is the reason for falling of governments and polls to parliment often ? how the people of the nation accepts ? i am eager to know full details about it. will you please answer?
In Italy the accusations of the lost sex scandals of Berlusconi are considered Gossip! What do you think? Berlusconi could have fucked a girl of 18 years old!!! Called Noemi from Naples. There are photos of Berlusconi at the party of birthday of this girl. Why a politic of 70 years, goes to the party of adolescents? This girl calls Berlusconi "Daddy" and so someone thinks that she is an illegal daughter of Berlusconi. Moreover he have been seen meets a local regional manager (of Puglia) called Tarantini accused of selling drugs and prostitution of escorts. He was a pappone. Now he's in a golden exile! But berlusconi declared that did not knows that Tarantini was a criminal and that didn't knows that the beauty girls which were always around Tarantini, were escorts, whores. He declared that didn't knows the term "escort"!!! ahahahah And italian people believes to these things told by Berlusconi!? Is It possible? No, in reality at italians doesn't interest if Berlusconi is a pappone and fucks whores. Simply because here people is won by his carism!!! He's most able than talk-show men of his televisions Mediaset! However at the government he is taken sides with defense of natural family against couple of gay ....And italians don't interested by these aspects to! His (of Berlusconi) hypocritical behaviours are considered gossip by goverment and by "right" politicals. But the private behaviours of people ARE NOT PRIVATE LIKE LIFESTYLE OF BERLUSCONI? What are your opinions? In Italy Nobody speaks to this "comparison" ... So what do you think? Private life of italian people is influenced by those decisions of government, by Pope Benedetto XVI that is always against couple of gay or not married... and in Italy there isn't an official prostitution (brothels) like in Austria or Germany. Vaticano influence very quite our politicals both of the right and to the moderate left (PD Democratic Party). What are your opinions? Sorry, I've done some mistake Politicals are Politics Defense is Defence Carism=Charism If I've been not clear. I've done comparison: Berlusconi goes with whores and his behavoiurs are simply gossip... In the opinion of the government. And private, emotional, sexual life of people is influenced by Vaticano and by this government in alliance. "Must existe only married couples with woman and man" "no to couples of gay" These influences are not gossip? Besides And if there's sexual liberty for our premier and politics because couldn't exist same sex liberty for all people of this country (Italy, I am italian) with opening of brothels? What do you think? In Yahoo answers Italy this my question has been deleted. Ciao Lilly ma te mi segui sempre;-) Mi fa molto piacere però adesso sto per fare una cosa che potrebbe farti arrabbiare un pochino... Australian people do you readen the comment of Lilly? She's a typical italian reasoning. This ipocriticals behaviours of berlusconi are a serious problem. The influences of Vaticano and Catholicals politics on private life to the people are only gossip. Must exists Liberty! In Australia is there official prostitution? Brothels? However in reality I don't are much worried by these ipocritical behavoiurs of Berlusconi. They are nastiness it's true but in my opinion sexual liberty it's all right! Here I've wanted say you what do you think on that comparison. However I seriously worried because parliament is full of laws ad personam for saving berlusconi. He coinvolts in the chase Mills for example. He controls all televisions all tv-news that make a wretched information. And he calls magistrates "communists" hahahah is it possible? Sorry for my bad english; I wanted say before: "I wanted tell you what do you think of that comparison" No, sorry the exact phrase is "I wanted ask you what do you think of that comparison?"
What do British people make of the Queen's rebuke of Berlusconi at the G20? I am Italian and I believe it was all blown out of proportion. Berlusconi has famously been responible for many a good social faux pax in his time, but this was one seems to have been highly exaggerated. Making mountains out of molehills is very common in Italy when it comes to Berlusconi's behaviour. Wasn't it great fun seeing the Queen of England react as though she wanted to beat Berlusconi with her purse?
Hi! I'm writing from Italy... Did you hear the last Berlusconi's phrase about Barack Obama? The Italian Prime Minister said: "Obama is young, tall and sunburned!" What do you think about this? Do you think that "sunburned" is a kind of joke? Or do you think that Berlusconi has been offensive with this word?
i'm desperate!!!!!!!berlusconi is winning elections here in italy tell me something to encourage me? how did u feel when bush won again as of almost four years ago? how did u survive?
What do you think of Berlusconi and Italian politics? Italy is becoming increasingly intollerant. Immigrates are underpaid and work without contracts or any other kind of assurance. Many africans manage to keep going by selling imitations bags on the streets. In the meanwhile, the medias are controlled by Berlusconi and have no freedom of speech. The pope seems to have a long arm on the political scene, menacing to excomunicate those politicians whose ways of life do not comply with his doctrin: homosexuals, divorced and concubins. Also, the BBC's reportage called "Sex crimes and Vatican" is sleeping on the RAI's desk because no-one seems bold enough to take the responsability to broadcats it. It would be good to have impartial opinions from you all. HARTIGAN: I am italian too and I do not need to defame Italy because our politicians are doing a very good job on their own! But I do thing that sometimes italians should look around and notice that they are not the whole world. HARTIGAN: The RAI has censored the reportage, this is not biased, this is a fact (actually now it has decided to broadcast it next week). The pope is menacing to excomunicate politician that divorce or that live in concubinage or that support the DICO. The pope has been voted the most Homophobe leader in the world. First place, second was Bush. Italy is 40th in the list of the freedom of speech of media. THESE ARE FACTS. You can check it whenever you want. Let me finish with my work and I'll paste you the links. And they are not obscure or extremiste sites. http://www.hrw.org/english/docs/2007/05/... http://www.rsf.org/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=639 Hartigan: if you believe that Bush has done the right thing in islam, I have nothing to say to you anymore. Good luck.
What do you think about Italy deporting its foreingers? Silvio Berlusconi apparently has re-written the Italian Constitution its relation to the EU. He's tore down the Romanian camps in Naples and is evicting all illegals, including allot of Africans from Italy. I'm not saying its right or wrong. Just want your opinion?

Italy's Israeli backed Berlusconi returns-? No wonder Israel gets the best press, it has well positioned media billionaires well positioned around the world. Yes? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3275979.stm
Britain vs Italy how they handle foreigners. Who do you agree with? Italy with Berlusconi as prime minister is kicking out allot of its foreigners especially any being suspected of crimes or illegal. This is not in line with the rest of the EU. Britain is not doing this as they play more by the rules of the European Union. Its of course not as simple as that, but which country do you feel is handling their immigrant population better? Remember I am not taking sides and am willing to hear your opinion.
Elections in Italy on Sunday: Who will win Prodi or Silvio Berlusconi? I want to read an opinion from an italian who is going to vote on sunday and who of this choices would be better for their country.

Should Britain follow Italy's example? The Italian prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has defended his government's decision to return migrants found off its shores to Libya by declaring that his party rejected the idea of a "multi-ethnic" Italy http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/10/silvio-berlusconi-italy-immigrants-libya

What was your reaction to the stunt pulled by Massimo Tartaglia over in Italy? Would you like to see something similar happen to Pelosi, Reid or Obama here? How'd you like Berlusconi's reaction when he stated that he didn't understand why they hated him so much?
Why President Berlusconi is so hated from the foreign press? Here in Italy he has success but in the rest of the world no, why?
What do you think about what has happened to Berlusconi in Italy? Hi! Let me ask you a question. You who are external to the facts. What do you think about the Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi? I'm italian and I want know what the Americans think about our P.M. silvio berlusconi. thank you. Niccolò, from bologna (north of Italy)
Why are American politicians made to resign on basis of sexual misconduct,? whereas Berlusconi, Italy's PM has had over 100 disgraceful and clear cases but is still strongly supported and has not even been taken on?
Berlusconi in Trouble, are Milan fans happy? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091007/ap_on_re_eu/eu_italy_berlusconi these guy loves to not impress me
What do you think about Berlusconi? Hi everybody! I'm from Italy, and I'd just like to know what do you think about Berlusconi and what do you think about the imagine of Italian people offered by the Mr. Berlusconi's behaviors thanks for your answers!
What do you think of Hamas and Berlusconi, other world leaders' comments about Obama's being President-elect? I think it is funny that Berlusconi calls Obama "...tanned". We need some humor here. Hamas' praises of Obama are much scarier, though. Berlusconi Praises Obama as `Handsome' and `Tanned' (Update1) By Steve Scherer and Lyubov Pronina Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi today praised Barack Obama, saying the U.S. president-elect is ``young, handsome and also tanned.'' Berlusconi, speaking in Italian during a press conference with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow, said he was sure he would get along well with Obama because he is ``giovane, bello, e abbronzato.'' Later, when he returned to his hotel, Berlusconi said his remark ``was a big compliment,'' according to comments televised on SkyTG24. ``If some people don't have a sense of humor, then it's their problem,'' he said. ``God save us from the imbeciles'' who would interpret his comments as derogatory, Berlusconi said. Berlusconi, President George W. Bush's most loyal ally in Europe, has a reputation for making controversial comments. In 2003, the day he took over the European Union's six-month rotating presidency, Berlusconi likened a German member of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, to a Nazi concentration camp guard. Italy's opposition Democrat Party immediately attacked the premier for his remarks and demanded an apology. ``We hope that as soon as possible an apology will be made to the new American President Barack Obama,'' said Walter Veltroni, leader of the Democrats, in an e-mailed statement. Berlusconi's comments ``gravely hurt the image and the dignity of our country on the international stage.'' Roiled Markets Less than a month ago Berlusconi roiled markets by saying world leaders were thinking about shutting down the financial system. He retracted his statement less than an hour later, saying he had heard a rumor on the radio. At a New York event sponsored by the New York Stock Exchange in 2003, he said people should invest in Italy because its women are pretty. ``We have beautiful ladies and beautiful women, so my suggestion from the bottom of my heart is to try to make investments in Italy,'' Berlusconi said. ``The secretaries are beautiful.'' In 2006, during his election campaign against former premier Romano Prodi, he said people who voted for his rival were ``coglioni,'' a vulgar term for testicles. ``My greatness is without question,'' Berlusconi said in March 2001. ``My human substance, my history, other people dream to have.''
Berlusconi and the Costitutional Court? Hi my friends, i'm Italian... this evening in my country has happened something of very very very important! The Italian Constitutional Court (like your Supreme Court) has overturned a Berlusconi's law (because this law has been considered unconstitutional). This law gave to Berlusconi the immunity, so he couldn't be tryed for corruption. Now he has sayed that al the judges of the Constitutional Court are comounist (Ahahahahah!) and he is very angry... What you think about that? i wanna listen to your opinions because you can't be ideologized (like we in Italy!). And what you think about a law that could give immunity for corruption to a prime minister? Is it right for you? (If you say no, you're comounist for Berlusconi! Remember...)!Ciao and excuse for my not perfect english! This is the link withe the news... http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/10/07/italy.berlusconi/index.html
Will Berlusconi do what only Mussolini did in Italy's history - destroy the Mafia.? When Musso was defeated, the Mafia was quick to re-establish itself and has grown from strength to strength. Will Silvio be branded a fascist if he tries to emulate Il Duce? Enzo : I'm not at all sure I understand your saying Fascist Italy owned Corporate Italy. It is communism that owns the entire country. Fascism was decidedly in favour of free enterprise.
2006 Fifa: Is Silvio Berlusconi the dumbest man in the world? http://goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2009/09/30/1531755/milan-are-no1-team-in-the-world-silvio-berlusconi ROFTLOL! Even Milan fans will say Barcelona is better at this moment!!! OQ- Do you drink coffee? What kind?
Why are Americans so concerned with what Europe thinks? Europeans nations are mostly socialistic, and even their own people have been turning their backs on this style of governing, Germany: Angela Merkle conservative, France Sarkozy, conservative, Italy Berlusconi, conservative, Englands Brown is in deep trouble, yet we are about to vote for a liberal, I just don't get it.
Have you heard about the scandal over Italian PM Berlusconi and an 18 year old model? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090605/ap_on_re_eu/eu_italy_berlusconi_photos This article was the first I had heard of it. After I read it, I looked for a photo of the girl involved, and all I can say is, "Way to go, Silvio!". I'd be more worried about him if an old fart like Berlusconi had a shot with her and failed to take it. What do you guys think? http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/noemi3.thumbnail.jpg govt: Obviously you cared enough to post a non-answer. You realize that's a violation of CG, right?
why conservative parties are winning the elections recently in both USA and Europe? Bush in the states(i believe John Mcain already won too). Angela Merkel in Germany. Nicolas Sarkozy in France. Silvio berlusconi in Italy. guys i know Mcain didn't win yet but since obama will be on the other side i expect that Mcain will win.
why don't noone western country say to be sorry for colonization during the last century???except italy? why don't they do it???? do they consider themself superior?? why did sarkosi say that is not time to do it?????? why do only italy do it with silvio berlusconi in lybia??? el vecio i am not speaking about that...i would know why other are not going to do the same...read well the answer el vecio i am not speaking about that...i would know why other are not going to do the same...read well the question
Why is it that so many countries criticize right-wing politics in the U.S., & then elect right-wingers @ home? I am no fan of GW Bush, but why can't people see that it's just a matter of degree with right-wing politicians? People point fingers at right wing politics in America, then elect right wing politicians at home. Sarkoszy in France, Berlusconi in Italy, Harper in Canada, look around the world and you'll see right wing politicians being elected. Why is this?
Poll: I would rather perform cunnilingus on (a) Sarah Palin, (b) Yulia Timoshenko, or (c) Veronica Berlusconi? (A) Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska http://images.smarter.com/blogs/guests/sarah%20palin%20and%20her%20man.jpg (B) Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko of Ukraine http://kenfager.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/yulia_tymoshenko_collier.jpg (C) First Lady Veronica Berlusconi of Italy http://politicaesocieta.blogosfere.it/images/cv.jpg Consider carefully before answering.
How much influence did Berlusconi have in keeping Ac Milan in Serie A? For those that don't know who Berlusconi is ..he's the ex prime minister of Italy!!
What do you think of the current Italian politics? I am pretty worried about my country because without even knowing it, Italians are giving absolute powers to their prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi (his party is the Liberty's People, which is practically like the Republicans). I'm Italian and there is a huge fascism revival now in Italy. Berlusconi, the current prime minister, is taking over the judiciary power and allows himself ruling the country at his pleasure. He convinced the Italians through the television that all the charges of frauds and briberies on him were untrue and therefore he blackmailed his own party by making them pass self-protecting laws against the judiciary and the Constitution. He realized this when he said he would have not passed any laws in the Congress unless they would have approved his own laws. So, now Berlusconi owns legislative and judiciary powers, and aims for the executive by removing President Napolitano in the near future. Meanwhile 90% of the mass media are owned by Berlusconi The button that B. pushes to get authority are a strong immigration of eastern Europeans like it never happened before in the history of Italy, and the general economic depression.
What do you think about Silvio Berlusconi? is our Prime Minister in Italy. Maybe many of you don't know him. For those who does it......tell me your impression
Why is Italy such an extreme right-wing country, politically? Silvio Berlusconi, the corrupt right-winger who sent Italian troops into Iraq several years ago, has been re-elected by Italian voters. What's up with Italy's extreme right-wing tendencies? This is the country that produced Mussolini, after all.
What do you think about pro-american governments defeating in election ? look what happened to Blair, Howard in Australia; Kazcinski brothers in Poland, Shinzo Abe in Japan, Berlusconi in Italy, Aznar a few years ago in Spain, Equator, Bolivia, Costa Rica... (and Sarkozy's main difficulties in France...)
Why do people here say the world hates us because of our Conservative President? I believe the best poll is at the polls. If you agree, then explain why in the past 4 years did: German citizens elected Angela Merkel, a Conservative France elected Nicholas Sarkozy, a Conservative Italy elected, Silvio Berlusconi, a Conservative. Could it be the U.S. media is wrong and the people of Europe, the ones who work and vote, are correct?
I'm italian. What think you of Berlusconi? I love Berlusconi.. but here in Italy many people hate him (50% love, 50% hate). Next 13 april in Italy will be the election day for new prime minister. I hope will win Berlusconi so return him to govern our country. Thanks and sorry for my english.
For US people: which government gave to ITALY the worse international image? The PRODI government (2006-2008) or the BERLUSCONI governement (2001-2006)?
I'm an Italian girl ad I would like to know what do you think about Berlusconi...? I'm really against Berlusconi... especially after that he said that "Obama is young, handsome and tanned". I think that it is a demonstration that he is unfit to govern Italy. Unfortunately he owns (directly or indirectly) the six major television networks in Italy, then "decide" what to show or not to the italians. Berlusconi says one thing and the days after it he usually says that he never said this... Americans, what do you think about him? (Sorry for my english, it isn't very good)
and what about what berlusconi said abt obama? you have probably heard about what italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi said about the new president of the USA--- he said : "has all the qualities to get along well with you: he’s young, handsome and suntanned, so I think you can develop a good working relationship.” i am from italy and i think he's a total idiot(berlusconi).. what do you think??!!
Mr. Berlusconi; it's impossible to defend him? Hi, I'm Italian (so my English isn't very good). I want to apologize with all American friends for the words that Italian president said about Obama. He' a stupid, an idiot who ruins our name all around the world. I'm sorry, but in Italy there are a lots of intelligent people who criticizes Berlusconi's words. Greeetings from Italy.
Did you Know Milan President Berlusconi Resign today? http://italiansoccerseriea.com/2008/05/09/sad-news-milan-president-silvio-berlusconi-resigns-to-continue-as-italy-prime-minister.aspx
what do you think about italy? hi i'm Christian. i've 21 years old,i live in trieste (on the border with slovenia)I would to know what the other peoples think about italy cause a lot of person think that italy is -mafia - spaghetti - pizza- berlusconi. and i would know what you read about my country... i would to transfer me in nederland when i'll have some money... by
What is wrong with Berlusconi's comment about rape? Check out the article: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090125/world/italy_rape_1 can someone please explain to me what the problem is or how this story made the news. How can it be anything other than a compliment? I don't understand whats wrong, please enlighten me. aah i see what you are saying. It might not be nice but i think it is a bit true though, a pretty woman surely has a higher chance of being raped, that certainly makes sense. EDIT: how can you say that a prettier woman hasn't got a higher chance of being raped? if a rapist had two women to choose from, one ugly and one pretty, all other things being equal, which one would he choose? hmmm... I learn something new every day.
Silvio Berlusconi on criminal charges, any other leader to face charges when their term is over? Now the Prime Minister of Italy is an ex-Prime Minister he is being charged with Fraud and other charges, is there another current Leader who should face charges when they finish their stint. I can think of at least two, but definitely one.
Who will win elections in Italy? You are for veltroni or berlusconi?
Beautiful secretaries are here.. please come and invest.. it is a call from Berlusconi? is it true? Recently, it is said that Berlusconi called the foreign investors to come to Italy because the country had ''beautiful secretaries''.. i don't understand this ..is it true ? if it is true what is the meaning ?
What happen in Italy in this time? Sorry my English I'm Italian, have 30 years old, and i'm lowest. I write this words for 2 good reason The first, at the most easy, is that learn English, and this is a way. But the other reason is very important. I want that not much people read this words learn qhat happens in Italy in this time. Berlusconi, with a law want, in fact blocked the justice becouse he have a lawsuit. The information press is our property, and qith a new law the news writer are gag, becouse if will write not good of Berloscuni or his man, the news writer will be sousepending. All politics man are with him, left politics are with him. Politics are collude with mafia and vaticano. One only way of comunications is available, is internet. But if a person don't use it, he dont know that happen in Italy Remeber this and rumors. Thanks Grazie e ciao @stabi it's not easy!!!! @black in black they does party at us!
Tomorrow, in Italy, is polling time? Do you know the main candidate Veltroni and Berlusconi. Who do you prefer. For not Italian only!
Hi America...a question from Italy.....? sorry but my english isn't perfect.... In Italy, the information isn't totally free. We don't know what the other nations think about us...except for some stereotype. What do you think about SILVIO BERLUSCONI??? Do you know Beppe Grillo? What do you think about him? thanks
Do you like Italy?? I Love Italy very much!! And you?? We have pizza, the sun, the sea, the montains... and Berlusconi XDXD o soleee miooooo XD Ulrina A: we don't want bore you... we want joke!!! =)
Does Yahoo do business with, or is it part owned by, Italian media billionaire (& prime minister) Berlusconi? I asked a question regarding the resignation of Italian premier Forlani in 1981. There was a scandal regarding an investigation of the Masonic "P2" lodge & an intended right-wing coup in Italy. It came out that Forlani had interfered with the investigation and then had tried to block the publication in a newspaper of the membership list. When the information came out Forlani's government lost support and he had to resign. My question was-"Was former Italian prime minister Forlani a member of P2 himself?" A perfectly reasonable query. After all, 3 members of his cabinet, several high-ranking military officers, prominent businessmen, & today's prime minister Silvio Burlusconi all turned out to be members. So I wanted to know if HIS name was on the list. My question was deleted and I didn't even get a violation notice! If someone complains & your question is deleted, don't you get a violation notice? Was Yahoo defending Berlusconi? Forlani? The Masons? Someone else?
What do you think of the current Italian politics (I explain)? So, now Berlusconi owns legislative and judiciary powers, and aims for the executive by removing President Napolitano in the near future. Meanwhile 90% of the mass media are owned by Berlusconi The button that B. pushes to get authority are a strong immigration of eastern Europeans like it never happened before in the history of Italy, and the general economic depression.
Is Italy returning to its Facist past ? We read with dismay that Italian mobs have attacked Roma Gypsie community's, and many of Italy's Roma are now living in fear. With the re-election of Right Wing Silvio Berlusconi as Italian Prime Minister, are Italy drifting back to their Facist past ? What do you think about italian political situation? During Berlusconi's governement the left parties used to say that Berlusconi made Italy ridicul in front of european pubblic opinion. Now Berlusconi, at the opposition, said that the prodi's progressists govern make worring european partners because is "too communist" (obviously berlusconi does not know what communism is...for him everyone who is not according with him is a communist)...What do you think there in Britain? p.s.I'm sorry if my english is not good...but I'm italian and I don't speak well your beautiful language. ;-) To linda: in fact mafia is a terrible problem...I am sicilian and here some towns are, pratically, controlled by mafia. Police and judiciary try to eliminate it, but there are connections between political power and criminal associations (an example: the actual sicily regional governor, salvatore cuffaro, was judged for "concorso esterno in associazione mafiosa" id est for mafia association...and it's terrible)...p.s. thanks for your answer...and also for saying my english is good :) To scottish...in fact in italy we say "tutto il mondo è un paesino" ;-)
