What are the best running shoes for women? I have reeboks which kinda look like pumas, and they're my favorite shoes to run in because they're light. I have VERY old nike's, not great for running. Converses(chuck taylors high tops) they're alright. But what are some good and not very exspesive running shoes ($20 at the least-$90 at the most)

There is truth in you get what you pay for $20.00 shoes I would not recommend. you wont get the support or cushioning you need. You can find lots of shoes under $90.00 a lot of running stores are have good sales to get rid of this years model to make way for the new shoes that will be out in the spring. check sales ads in your news paper or there are lots of running sites out there that sell sport wear. High tops are not good to run in, I don't know of a high top that is good for running. The older the shoe the more the cushion has worn down, which can in time lead to injuries. Go to a running store, some have the ability to examine your running style on a treadmill and recommend a good shoe for you. What might be a good shoe for me may not be one for you all of us are different when it comes to a specific type of running shoe. You can find a good shoe for $65-$90.00
It all depends on u but converse are the last thing u should be running in they have absoulutly no support......... but to find the right shoe for u should go to a running specialty store they will have u jog a lil and will be able to determine what type of shoe u need if u need more cushion, support, etc. the brand does not really matter they will point u in the right direction
