hey for all you italians, im jus wondering, have you guys heard of Eritrea or Eritreans...cuz i was studying my history, and Italy and Eritrea are apparently very close partners military wise, trading and all...so im jus wondering if Italian parents kids, do you guys know about eritrea, if so, what do you know

2. Eritrea was ani Italian colony during the Fascism. Italians conquered it for commercial and military reasons (and also because having a colony is good for a nation's reputation). The Italian army conquered eritrea and started building streets,schools,hospitals exc.... Many Italians married eritreans girl and many young eritreans joined the Italian army. It was a wonderful period for eritrea. Then during the world Italy lost her possession of colonies and the Fascism lost his power; Those who gained the control of the nation after the Fascism(communist) started their slander against the Fascist period and today the Italian colonialism is considered like sometihng bad,while it was a wonderful period for Italy and his colonies.
